Job Description Summary:
We are recruiting an analytical and highly motivated Junior Business Analyst (BA) to join the team dedicated to operating our innovative Retail Solution. You will serve as a key contributor, responsible for translating the strategic vision of our retail system into clear, executable functional requirements.The ideal candidate has up to 3 years of relevant professional experience and seeks to grow their business and system analysis expertise within a dynamic, high-growth environment. This role will involve hands-on work defining features, optimizing processes, and supporting the commercialization of our comprehensive Retail Management System.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Requirements Analysis and Documentation Support
Assist senior team members in conducting practical business analysis to identify operational gaps and needs within the independent retail market.
Support the gathering and refinement of functional and non-functional requirements for the Retail Management System (e.g., inventory management, payment processing, data analytics).
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including draft User Stories, Use Cases, and Functional Specifications, ensuring they align with core business objectives.
2. Execution Support and Process Optimization
Act as a core communication liaison, collaborating closely with the Development, Design, and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
Assist in managing and prioritizing the Product Backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder feedback.
Support the analysis of operational Key Performance Indicators and early User Feedback to drive rapid system or process improvements during operations.
3. Market Analysis and Compliance Assistance
Conduct goal-oriented market research on competitor activities, industry standards, and technology trends within the Retail Management System domain.
Assist in verifying and supporting compliance with data transparency regulations and internal policies related to system implementation.
Prepare regular status updates, documentation, and summary reports for the Product Manager and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience & Education
Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Product Support, IT Project Coordination, or a related field within a software or technology environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Core Competencies
Fundamental understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and basic Agile methodologies.
Proven ability to translate business goals into clear, structured documentation.
Strong proficiency in standard analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, flow charting tools, documentation platforms).
Preferred Domain Knowledge
Basic familiarity with Retail Management Systems, payment processing, or inventory management solutions.
Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA.
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL) to query and analyze system usage or sales data is a significant plus.

21.50 - 39.75 USD HourlyActual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
