Watsontown Brick, a General Shale company and leading manufacturer of brick and sustainable building materials, is seeking a motivated Shipping and Customer Service Representative to join our team in Columbia, SC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Print and process load tickets for outbound shipments.

  • Receive and verify inbound materials per audit and inventory guidelines.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person.

  • Perform data entry and order processing in SAP (shipping, receiving, CPU, RMA, IC, etc.).

  • Support inside sales, including product selection and matching brick, stone, and mortar.

  • Process cash sales and maintain accurate records.

  • Communicate effectively with sales, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide administrative support and assist with departmental needs.

  • Follow all safety, health, and quality standards.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 2–5 years of customer service experience; inside sales or shipping/receiving preferred.

  • SAP experience a plus.

  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated with a commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to learn plant processes and adapt as needed.

  • Commitment to maintaining a zero-harm workplace.
