What Will Be Your Key Accountabilities?
- Responsible to administer all aspects of Company human resource policies and functions.
- Responsible for the effective performance of various human resources functions, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, compensation, benefits, employee relations, payroll, and for ensuring company-wide compliance with EEO, ADA, OSHA, and other governmental regulations. Submit applicable reports as required.
- Provides recommendations to Senior Management in establishing overall human resources objectives, policies, and plans. Ensures Human Resources activities are conducted in accordance with established Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, and recommend and implement updates to policies to ensure compliance.
- Assist President and CEO in developing short and long-term objectives, goals and strategies.

- Co-lead company Leadership Team promoting and supporting company culture.
- Assist President and CEO, and partners, in investigating and resolving and issuing documentation, writing letters, planning phone communication, for all employee relations issues in compliance with company policy, and applicable legal requirements.
- Ensure HR Policies are updated and communicated to management and staff as directed.
- Recommend and oversee employee personnel file organization and maintenance, including electronic filing.
- Ensure employee payroll, benefits, and personnel questions are promptly and courteously resolved.
- Handle payroll processing biweekly, in partnership with Finance Department.
- Implement report of metrics for Human Resources Department, to include all aspects of HR oversight.
- Ensure President and CEO informed consistently of all location activities and of any significant problems.
- Attend HR Law Seminars and industry events.

What Do You Bring to the Team?

- Bachelor's Degree with certificate in related field, or equivalent experience and education.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources positions, with at least five years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations. Understanding of compensation and benefits policies and programs, employee relations practices and all aspects of employment related issues, from pre-employment to termination.
- Banking or financial institution experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain the strictest of confidentiality as required for this position.
- Ability to work successfully in a deadline driven, team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational, problem solving, research and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
- Must possess skills necessary to be a successful manager including compliance with all human resources policies and procedures, recruiting and training compliance, providing feedback, establishing and supporting attainment of goals and reviewing and completing annual performance evaluations.
