Dealers throughout the world utilize NPA for acquisition of wholesale vehicles and to ensure their pre-owned inventory meets their customer's demands.

Leadership:

· Be proactive in problem solving

· Treat the operation as your own and take pride in the output, hold the team accountable and ensure every department has what they need to efficiently perform their duties

· Continue communicating with CR and RVM supervisors, Recon, Front office, Transport and Sales

· Assist in managing daily coverage and staffing levels. Ensure production stays balanced when team members are out or the workload spikes

AGM responsibilities:

· Run Inventory/Prep reports to ensure units are getting processed in a timely manner

· Oversee CR Operations and planning

o Train and QC CR writers – teach new hires the ebs/flows of the location and ensure candidates are able to fulfill the company expectations for increased volumes and auction week

o Support CR Production planning

· Reviews Physical QC

· Communicate and identify discrepancies in our CR processes to the GM, offering solutions and helping implement improvements

· Discuss discrepancies with Dealers, Clients, Buyers and Employees of NPA as necessary with direction from GM’s

· Maintain accountability for company tools, equipment and necessary maintenance of new applications

· Reports daily production status and workflow

· Participate in weekly operations meetings

· Encourage a culture focused on safety, teamwork and efficiency

· Maintain a clean, organized and professional work space

· Always pickup after yourself in a ‘lead by example’ tone

Summary of extended responsibilities related to Service Writing:

· This person is responsible for and not limited to all Recon Process and Services.

· You are always responsible for setting a good example for NPA and its employees.

· You will portray a positive image and always act respectfully to others.

· You will encourage proper procedure based on current Recon Policies.

· You may be responsible for hiring and training new Recon Department Employees.

· You will encourage a safe and healthy working environment.

· This position reports directly to the General Manager or Regional General Manager.

Service Writing Responsibilities: Complete all service responsibilities including but not limited to

1. Meetings

a. Discuss challenges and ideas to help better our process.

b. Pull numbers and have them ready for the recon meeting.

c. Ensure that all 10-day old notes are updated prior to the meeting.

2. Batteries

a. Manage battery inventory levels and making sure they stay charged.

b. Place all battery orders

c. Send back batteries that need warranty completed.

d. Manage Battery types that we keep in stock.

e. Order from alternative sources when low.

f. Update general manager on freight tracking information for pallet orders.

g. Set stocking quantities based on movement history

3. Diagnostic

a. Work with technicians thru email and in person.

b. Brainstorm ideas and run tests to assist in diagnostics.

c. Research the required specifications and/or tools required for proper testing.

d. Verify the Concern, Cause, and Correction required for each vehicle.

e. Verify that all proper tests have been performed in our diagnosis process prior to submitting an estimate to the lender for approval.

4. Warranty/Recalls

a. Run all VIN #s through OEM manufacturers for any and all units that will be exported out of country, to determine if recalls need to be completed prior to the units leaving NPA.

b. Run VIN #s on newer units in recon to see if the issue they are having is covered under the warranty of that unit if it is still valid.

c. Schedule with Dealerships to have repairs orders opened and parts ordered prior to transporting units down to have the units out of our possession for the least amount of time possible

d. Organize having units transported to dealership when they are ready to have the work completed and the parts are in and have been notified that they are ready for our units.

e. Forward all invoicing regarding recall letters to appropriate dealer.

f. Stage recall bikes separately and communicate with the appropriate GM as to a completion date and status.

g. Notify dealer and/or transporter when the units are ready for pickup after recall status is cleared and the work has been performed to assure exportation.

5. Engine/Vin Verification

a. Check repair history to see if the engine or frame has been replaced on any questionable units.

b. Run ALL VIN numbers that Condition Report Writers have questions on to verify model is correct in AMS.

c. Run Vin numbers for AL Sands and Melissa Heller to help them determine if the unit has the proper chassis and engine.

d. Work will ALL the OEMs to access the required information to verify engines and models.

6. Technician Scheduling (monitor)

a. Determine Schedule for techs.

b. Enforce the importance of prioritizing work based on lender code and previous comments.

c. Make sure (key clients) units take priority in schedule and are in and out as fast as possible, while keeping the quality of work to the highest standards.

d. Verify we are continually working on the oldest units (based on arrival date) “first in first out.”

e. Schedule some priority on the unit based on the lender code and our current recon policies.

7. Leadership Communication

a. Communicate all repair estimates and seek approval to proceed with repairs under recon Policy Guidelines.

b. Answer all lender/client questions regarding reconditioning, both through direct and email.

c. Handle any discrepancies before they are sent out for approval.

CR specific:

· Correct unit year, make, mileage and model using the QC process

· The highest level of accuracy and consistency with current company objectives related to current RV, Marine, Golf Car or Other Specialty Vehicle CR guidelines.

· Every unit is to be evaluated and critiqued to ensure accuracy, deficiencies are to be documented so that training regimens can be developed and implemented.
