The US Plasma Communication Manager - will serve as a strategic bridge between the Plasma Procurement department and Corporate Communications & Corporate Affairs, with a strong focus on business-driven communications. This role will lead the development and execution of communication strategies for key plasma-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging while maintaining a close connection to operational realities. This also includes receiving and coordinating actions for press inquiries, including the creation and delivery of press releases and content for media relations, as well as the development and maintenance of local language websites.
Public affairs activities include setting up a stakeholder map on appropriate key opinion leaders in line with industry-relevant stakeholders and events such as a donor ambassador program. The activities are innovatively embedded in the Group's objectives, communicated in a targeted manner and incorporated into the appropriate reporting line.
The integration of internal and external communication, taking into account consistent brand language and strategic integration into the overarching Group communication, also falls within the area of responsibility.
The further development and implementation of events for donors’ organizations are also part of the area of responsibility, together with Corporate Affairs as is the implementation and further development of measures within the framework of social engagement.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with a passion for storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and strategic alignment. They will be responsible for amplifying the voice of plasma donors and patients, managing internal and external communications, and driving visibility for plasma procurement activities across multiple platforms.
What your responsibilities will be
1. Strategic Communication & Project Leadership
- Develop and implement communication strategies for plasma-specific projects and initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison between Plasma Procurement and Corporate Communications/Affairs.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, tailored to both internal and external audiences.
- Full responsibility for the budget management, and monthly reporting.
2. Donor & Patient Engagement
- Lead storytelling initiatives that connect plasma donors with patient impact stories.
- Develop campaigns and content that highlight the human side of plasma donation.
- Collaborate with patient advocacy and donor engagement teams to amplify voices and experiences in collaboration with Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications.
3. Event Communication Leadership
- Own the communication strategy for key plasma-related events (e.g., donor recognition, awareness campaigns, live internal events).
- Coordinate live event communications, including scripting, visuals, and team engagement.
- Prepare all additional marketing posters and panels needed for fair trade, events and conferences.
4. Digital & Social Media Strategy
- Lead content planning and publication for LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms.
- Manage intranet communications related to plasma procurement, ensuring timely and engaging updates.
- Manage Donor Centers communications strategies, ensuring alignment with tone, content, and strategic goals.
5. Internal Communication & Team Engagement
- Foster strong internal communication within Plasma Procurement teams.
- Design and execute communication plans for team meetings, events, and cross-functional updates.
- Support leadership communications through tailored messaging and engagement tools (cosmos, events, speaches...)
- Work with marketing teams and Plasma Customer Service to develop service positioning and messaging.
Who you are

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or stakeholder engagement, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Proven experience in strategic communication planning and execution.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives.
- Experience managing social media platforms and internal communication tools.
- Open to relocation to US.
