Job Description: Under the direction of the Director, HR Staff Services - Staff Scheduling, the Manager is accountable for planning, developing, coordinating and management of Staff Scheduling Services for select units/sites within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The incumbent will utilize an innovative approach of continuous improvement, including collaboration and strategy development, to provide improved service to its clients – striving to support staffing needs in order to best serve Patient/Resident/Client outcomes. Utilizing a continuous improvement management approach, this position will provide support and leadership to the scheduling process. The Manager will foster a cooperative environment for scheduling activities, monitor and support adherence to collective agreements, and develop and support procedures to ensure standardization and consistent application of scheduling of unionized employees.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Five (5) years experience in Human Resources or Health Care Management
  • Experience as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning

Education

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
  • Human Resources certificate
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Human Resources diploma

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
