How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Canada Operations Control is made of 4 employees of several nationalities, all based in Montréal Canada. They work in close relationship with the CFO and the rest of Canada Finance Teams made of more than 20 employees, mainly based in Montréal Canada.The main purpose of this position consists in assuming responsibility for the compilation and analysis of various technical data for the FP&A team into meaningful KPIs and presenting and analyzing gaps in the KPI’s or financials in a clear manner to drive improvement. Drives the industrial reporting and financial process for the operations group. More specifically, the tasks consist in:
Performs operational analyses: Ensures data management concerning the operations group:
Analyze and monitor the evolution of key performance indicators and costs. Tracks trends and analyzes the operational KPI’s of the different teams.
Explain variances, OIR and proposes and recommends improvements or corrections to his/her immediate supervisor and respective teams in terms of quality and safety, while reducing operating costs.
Ensure the data accuracy by doing analysis and reconciliation with different databases (migration at the end of 2026 from Oracle to SAP).
Perform ad hoc analyses.
Efficiencies Programs: Responsible for the efficiency program for the Process Industries groups. This will involve engaging and coaching the groups on the process and potential efficiency programs as well as consolidating, tracking and presenting the efficiency programs as well as their performance, while ensuring the continuity of the programs
Responsible for operations and project cost reporting:
Review and ensure the KPI’s consolidated accurately, timely and with sufficient detail such that the improved actions can be identified.
Assist with customer invoicing as required. For projects, consolidates the committed costs with accounting reports.
Prepares and issues monthly summary reports to management on project budgets, committed costs and engineering hours.
Ensures overall adherence to approved project amounts and reviewing the capital requirements for the group.
Project Development Documentation: Supports the group in preparing and consolidating the project documentation requirements to submit to the Committee for project approvals.
Work in collaboration with a multifunctional team to improve work processes.

Candidate profile:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration (accounting or finance or logistic)
Strong knowledge of Power BI and Google Sheets

Expected work experience :
1 years of work experience / internships in operations as an analyst

Position based in Montreal, Canada for a period of 24 months.
