OB/GYN 0.2 FTE at Stamford Health, Inc.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stamford Hospital is actively seeking a part-time BC/BE OB/GYN Physician for a hybrid gynecology role. 12-hour hospitalists shifts are available to supplement the P/T position.  U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) named Stamford Hospital as a High Performing Hospital for Maternity in its “Best Hospitals for Maternity in 2024” ratings. This is Stamford Hospital’s first appearance on the list, and we are one of only two hospitals in Connecticut and the only hospital in Fairfield County to earn this distinction. This follows a recent recognition from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for Stamford Hospital as “birthing-friendly.”  Stamford is less than one hour from NYC via commuter rail or car. 

Highlights:

• Provide outpatient gynecology care 1.5 days a week at the Optimus Clinic in downtown Stamford, CT.
• 0.5 days at Stamford Hospital for surgery
• Supplemental 12-hour shifts are available, nights, days, weekends or hybrid.

Requirements:

• B/C in OB/GYN
• Active CT License or ability to get one
• Graduation from an accredited residency training program
