RESPONSIBILITIES
Including, but not limited to:

Work with the facilities dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.

Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.

Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
-
Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
-
Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room etc. as instructed.
-
Assist cook in preparing meals.
-
Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
-
Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
-
Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment is required.

The ideal candidate will also have previous organizational experience.

All other duties as assigned.
Skills
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare setting is a plus.
-
Detailed oriented with excellent follow up skills.
-
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
-
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility.

Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

Good verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company

proprietary information

Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels
