Full Time/Part Time: Part Time (15% Full Time Equivalent)
To begin January 12, 2026, pending position clearance and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in the Dept. of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) including and not limited to CSD601-Neuroscience in CSD.
- Other scholarly duties as assigned.
Instructor Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from college or university of recognized standing, with major work in CSD.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in the application of neuroscience to clinical practice.
- Demonstrated ability as a teacher.
- Poise and good address for meeting, collaborating, and conferring with others.
- Demonstrated scholarly achievement.
Assistant Professor Minimum Qualifications:
- Same as Instructor level, as well as:
- Clinical doctorate, PhD, or EdD degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from college or university of recognized standing, with major work in CSD. A PhD candidate who has completed all requirements of the degree except dissertation (“all but dissertation” or “ABD”) is also eligible; however, if all degree requirements are not fulfilled within a two-year period, the contract of the individual will not be renewed.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in research.
Associate Professor Minimum Qualifications:
- Same as Assistant Professor level, as well as:
- A minimum of four years of full-time college or university teaching at the rank of assistant professor or equivalent, with evidence of increasing professional maturity.
- Continued evidence of participation in the scholarly and academic affairs of a university or other appropriate organization, or in an appropriate organization, or in an appropriate professional society or organization, or in other appropriate job-related service activities.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize assigned activities, including the supervision of work of assistants when appropriate.
- Ability to serve as a role model for students and junior colleagues.
Full Professor Minimum Qualifications:
- Same as Associate Professor level, as well as:
- A minimum of four years of full-time college or university teaching at the rank of associate professor or equivalent, with evidence of increasing professional maturity.
- Research productivity which has resulted in significant recognition by the national or international community of scholars active in the same field.
- Ability to undertake a variety of assignments within the University.
- Demonstrated capacity for leadership in the department and scholarly discipline.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in working in a multicultural setting.
