Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Sterile Processing Technician at the Veteran's Administration in Long Beach, California.

Requirements:The Position will have the following requirements:
- Contracted Sterile Processing Services Technician staff must meet one (1) or more ofthe following requirements.i) Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or higherby the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management(IAHCSMM/HSPA).ii) Graduation from a nationally recognized CRCST training program with a minimum of2 current years of documented work in the field.iii) Graduation from a nationally recognized Operating Room Technician trainingprogram with a minimum of 2 current years of documented work experience in aSterile Processing Service environment.iv) Graduation from a US military training program for Surgical Technicians with aminimum of 2 current years of documented work experience in a Sterile ProcessingService environment.v) VA Level 2 certification with a minimum of 2 years of current work experience in theSPS environment.vi) Non-Certified technicians with documented and verifiable SPS hands-on workexperience for a minimum of 5 years.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Sterile processing certification required
- Rate to be determinded but likely around $25-$35hr
