The Position
Warming House Attendant's are responsible for maintaining the warming house and ice rinks in a safe and orderly manner. We pride in providing exceptional customer service in enhancing an enjoyable atmosphere for citizens to skate and play hockey.
**Interviews are conducted as applications are received.**
Position Duties
- Enforce the Parks and Recreation Board's rules and regulations to all patrons.
- Keep the warming house and skating area clean and free of debris.
- Keep sidewalks and doorways of warming house clear of snow and ice.
- Keep the restrooms in warming house clean and stocked.
- Respond to accident and emergency situations as outlines in the Skating Rink Attendants Manual.
- Complete accident reports as needed.
- Record daily attendance at designated time on the attendance record.
- Complete the maintenance report as needed.
- Works independently with minimal supervision, making safe decisions.
- Perform other related duties as requested by the Skating Rink Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Able to work afternoon and evening hours and day shifts, up to eight continuous hours. May include holidays.
Desired Experience
- Skate sharpening experience
- Customer service experience
- Fluent in foreign language other than English
