River Valley Family Health Centers is looking for a Front Desk Professional to join our team in Delta and Montrose, CO. The Front Desk Professional is instrumental in making positive first and last impressions to our dental, medical, and behavioral care patients.
The Front Desk Professional position is a full-time position; 40 hours per week. We are a growing, exciting place to work, serving our community in a variety of ways. Come join our team!
A day in the life of a Front Desk Professional includes:
- Checking patients in and out, verifying demographic information, insurance, scheduling and rescheduling of appointments.
- Answering phone calls and providing great customer service.
- Explain sliding fee scale or other financial programs available; collect payments and insurance co-pays, and maintaining daily logs of payments.
- Maintaining and ensuring confidentiality of patient medical, dental, and behavioral health records.

- $18.62-$20.69/hour, depending on experience and certifications

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members, patients, families, and others.
- Ability to utilize a computer for time keeping, documenting electronic medical records, and to complete follow-up tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
