Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform various duties in quantity preparation, baking and serving of foods at an assigned school site; prepare bank deposits and related reports according to established procedures; maintain food service facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.

TESTING INFORMATION:
The District Nutrition Services Worker II test will be given by invitation only on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to test and notified via email. The same District test may only be taken once every 30 days (15 days for current regular employees.)
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience: One year of experience in quantity food preparation. Any combination of training and/or experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be considered.
Testing: Passing score on District Nutrition Services Worker II OR Lead test within the last three (3) years.
Other: Bilingual/Spanish Desired
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Food Handler's Card.
WORK YEAR/WORKING HOURS:
“H”; 8 hours; 184 days; 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Salary Info
Range 39 of the Classified Salary Schedule "C". Family medical and dental benefits available at 100% District paid.
