Additional Information: Show/Hide The Concord School District is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as our next Superintendent of Schools. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic district deeply committed to academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful community engagement.
As Superintendent, you will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the district and report directly to the Board of Education. You will be responsible for overseeing all district operations, including strategic planning, instructional leadership, fiscal management, and personnel development. The Superintendent will work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners to foster a culture of equity, achievement, and continuous improvement.

Proven Educational Leadership: Demonstrated success as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or senior district administrator, with a deep understanding of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.

Strategic Thinker: Skilled in long-term planning, data-informed decision-making, and aligning resources to support student achievement.
Fiscal Stewardship: Experience managing complex budgets and advocating for equitable funding and resource allocation.

Integrity and Transparency: Leads with honesty, empathy, and a clear moral compass.
Advocate for Public Education: Passionate about the role of public schools in shaping vibrant communities and preparing students for a changing world.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
Valid NH Superintendent Certification (or eligibility for certification).
Minimum of 5 years of successful administrative experience in public education, preferably at the district level.
Demonstrated expertise in instructional leadership, school improvement, and organizational management.
Strong understanding of New Hampshire education laws, policies, and funding structures.
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to lead with vision, empathy, and accountability.
