About the Role
CHPK Fire Engineering is growing its Fire Engineering capability and is seeking a motivated Graduate Fire Engineer to join the team. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for an ambitious individual to begin their career in a fast-paced, technically driven environment where your work contributes directly to creating safer buildings and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior fire engineers in developing and reviewing fire safety strategies.
- Support the preparation of fire engineering documentation, reports, and technical submissions.
- Gain exposure to fire modelling, evacuation analysis, and fire safety systems.
- Assist with site inspections, coordination meetings, and client engagement.
- Stay up to date with relevant fire safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to tender proposals and project bids.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in Fire, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A genuine interest in fire safety, risk management, and building safety.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and attend the London office at least 3 days per week.
- Internship or relevant experience in fire safety or building services.
- Knowledge of fire safety standards, legislation, or modelling software.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Full training and CPD support provided.
- Funded membership of The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) with a clear pathway to Chartered Engineer status.
- Hands-on project exposure with mentoring from experienced technical leads.
