WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

The Survey Intern will work closely with experienced surveyors and other team members to gain hands-on experience in land surveying and data collection. Responsibilities include assisting with fieldwork, data processing, and supporting various project tasks. This role provides valuable exposure to surveying practices, field technology, and real-world projects.

Once selected to join our team, you will:

• Assist survey crews in the field with data collection, equipment setup, and measurements.
 • Perform office-related survey tasks, such as processing survey data and preparing reports or maps.
 • Help verify the accuracy of field data and ensure proper documentation of survey results.
 • Support project teams by organizing files, maintaining records, and handling administrative tasks.
 • Observe professional surveying practices, gain familiarity with GPS, total stations, and CAD software, and develop technical skills through hands-on experience.
 • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
 • Other duties as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE:
 • Basic knowledge of surveying principles and practices.
 • Familiarity with GPS, total stations, or other survey instruments is preferred.
 • Basic understanding of CAD software and data processing tools.

SKILLS:
 • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
 • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technology and field techniques.
 • Good written and verbal communication skills.
 • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious work ethic.

EDUCATION:
 • Actively pursuing a degree (undergraduate or graduate) in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
