POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This role collaborates with the Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) and, in some cases, other Banking Officers with sales and retention of client portfolio including the account opening process, onboarding and implementation, and servicing existing clients to maintain and improve deposit relationships. This position will support higher level TMO’s with more complex account structures and supporting higher-level client’s product needs and questions. The associate will support the TMOs in monitoring and analyzing our commercial clients’ activity to assess if the client qualifies for other products and services. In addition, this position will also work with other Banking Officers and retail banking centers in the market to identify opportunities to cross sell Treasury solutions as needed. This role may also act as a point of contact for commercial banking clients for servicing requests related to Treasury Management support and overall client / bank relationship.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a banking environment required.
• Minimum of 2 years previous client facing or client interaction experience required.
• Minimum of 1-year previous Associate Treasury Management experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively sell bank products and services required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• In conjunction with TMOs and Bankers, responsible for opening new business accounts, onboarding new clients, and providing general guidance to clients.
• Work closely with Treasury Management Support and Product for issue resolution.
• Responsible for updating existing accounts - signature card changes, beneficial owner forms, credit and debit card support, etc.
• Research existing client questions and issues providing maintenance as needed.
• Navigate the bank for the client.
• Implementation of all Treasury Services (including completing of paperwork for back office).
• Assist TMOs with ACH processes including input of credit requests.
• Work with Treasury Management Sales Team in preparing proposals and proformas for new clients and analyzing client relationships.
• Maintain and improve commercial relationships by providing a high level of customer service.
• Promote all Treasury Management solutions.
• Utilize Treasury Management reviews and analyze reports from various areas as a tool to generate cross-sells.
• Ongoing, superior account relationship management of portfolio of clients with independent decision-making authority.
• Identify and appropriately mitigate operational risk by educating about fraud prevention best practices and supporting clients affected by fraud with treasury management solutions.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and provide on-going support, training and mentoring to new and existing team members.
• Learn the credit culture of Republic Bank in order to present appropriate credits for approval.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

• Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required including occasional out of town travel.
• Flexible work schedule may include some evenings, weekends and/or overtime.
