Position Overview:
The Recruiter is responsible to deliver high quality professional candidates, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. Responsibilities include recruiting and maintaining relations with hiring managers, candidates, and new hires.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for Support Center and Store Leadership roles, ensuring timely placement.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Edit and post job descriptions, review applications for alignment with role requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and interviews using tools such as networking, social media, and job boards.
- Partner with Store and District Team Leaders to plan and execute hiring strategies for new store openings, including event coordination.
- Maintain job postings and follow up on recruiting efforts.
- Coordinate advertising and sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Prepare hiring proposals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and generate reports (e.g., open roles, candidate tracking, new store hiring).
- Update and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in collaboration with HRIS.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts for ongoing candidate sourcing.
- Explore and test new, cost-effective sourcing tools and strategies.
- Stay informed on recruiting trends and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with legal guidelines in interviewing and hiring.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in recruiting strongly preferred (field retail experience preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a professional environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Outstanding telephone etiquette.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Ability to complete assignments in the time allotted.
- Must have a positive attitude and interact well with others.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
- Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
- Able and willing to travel to store and distribution center locations on an occasional basis.
- Ability to speak on the phone clearly for long periods of time; up to an hour or more.
- Ability to interact face to face with various people for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
