Pay Range: $21-22/hour

WORK HOURS: The work hours of this position may require flexibility in order to meet sanitation requirements. Some mandatory overtime may be required, and voluntary overtime may be available. Shift hours: 11PM – 7:30 AM Sunday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleans equipment to federal and state sanitation and plant sanitation standards.
  • Takes direction from supervisors in relation to assigned cleaning activities.
  • Participates in completion of weekly and daily cleaning tasks from cleaning checklists.
  • Participates in assembling equipment and lines to prepare for week’s production runs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Must be at least 18 years of age. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to demonstrate basic English communication skills.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Must be willing and able to learn skills necessary to accurately input data into computer manufacturing systems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.  The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat and occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock.  The noise level in the work environment can be loud. In certain areas, hearing protection is required.
