· Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
· Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
· Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.
· Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate distribution functions.
· Operates a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload and load trucks.
· Pulls and stages orders for auditing and shipping teams.
· Responsible for conducting pre shift forklift inspections and ensuring forklifts are operated safely and efficiently.
· Ensure damage product is reported and delivered to the proper department for rework.
· Performs other duties as required or assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
· Skilled forklift and reach truck operator (Raymond preferred).
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
· Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
· Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
· Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
· Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
· Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
· 6 months or more experience working in shipping or receiving (preferred).
Computer Skills
· Basic: RF scanner.
Certificates and Licenses
· Forklift Certification (required).
