The Director, Systems and Cybersecurity will provide strategic leadership for organizational technology systems and cybersecurity. This executive-level role reports to the VP, IT and collaborates with stakeholders, accounting, and IT teams. The ideal candidate holds an MBA or degree in accounting and combines business acumen with technical expertise to bridge enterprise resource planning, financial operations, and robust cyber defense.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation and oversight of secure enterprise systems for office automation, accounting, HR and corporate records.
• Track all hardware and software assets in Sage X3 Fixed Asset Tracking
• Develop, implement, and maintain cyber risk management frameworks and robust information security strategies aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and system disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure full compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) as related to business systems and financial data.
• Deploy and monitor controls for both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures.

• Maintain and oversee annual budgets for systems and cybersecurity, balancing operational effectiveness with fiscal responsibility.
• Define, track, and report on IT and cybersecurity KPIs to ensure optimal system performance, security, and compliance (Metrics & Accountability)
Desired Competencies
• Experience running cross-functional IT and finance projects.
• Demonstrated ability to present technical and risk concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT management, ERP systems, and cybersecurity leadership.
• MBA, accounting degree, or related advanced degree.
• Proven track record in information and systems security management.
• Knowledge of compliance, internal controls, and risk assessment in finance/ERP settings.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with Sage X3 ERP and financial system integrations.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or PMP.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid IT infrastructures.
