About the Role

MSS Security is currently seeking highly adaptable and proactive Rapid Response Security Officer to join our elite team servicing a prestigious banking client across Sydney’s CBD. This is a dynamic, high-tempo relief role requiring quick deployment to various sites, often at short notice, to support critical security operations and respond to incidents as they arise.

Your role will be essential in maintaining safety, managing risks, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-moving environment. You will work across multiple locations, stepping in where needed most, making every day varied and challenging.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid deployment to different client sites as required

• Provide immediate and professional response to alarms, incidents, and emergencies

• Monitor and manage access control systems and CCTV

• Deliver outstanding customer service under pressure

• Conduct thorough internal and external foot patrols

• Escort visitors and contractors, ensuring security protocols are followed

• Maintain visitor logs, key registers, and assist with inductions

• Collaborate closely with site teams, supervisors, and emergency services

About You

You thrive in high-pressure situations and enjoy the challenge of a varied work environment. You’ll bring:

• Certificate II in Security Operations & current First Aid certification

• A current, valid NSW Security Licence

• Proven ability to think clearly and act quickly in emergencies

• High adaptability and willingness to travel across multiple CBD locations

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive mindset

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional presentation and grooming standards

• Sound computer literacy and ability to pick up new systems quickly

• Strong judgement, integrity, and a customer-first approach
