Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining aerospace components and systems in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and company quality standards. This role ensures airworthiness and safety of aircraft parts by using precision tools, repair techniques, and documentation practice
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot aircraft components (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems)
Perform maintenance, modifications, and repairs on aircraft parts and systems using appropriate technical data.
Use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment to ensure repairs meet specifications.
Document all work performed in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and other technicians to solve complex repair issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and cleanliness standards in the work area.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and repair procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical degree in related field
Minimum of two years of experience in the same or similar field
Must be familiar with AS9100 standard and ISO 14001
Must be familiar with FAR 145, EASA and all applicable requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is a physically demanding position which requires the employee to be able to:
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds at times
Must be able to reach at or below shoulder level, reach overhead, push, or pull, lift or carry, and kneel at times
Stand for extended periods of time
Be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, occasional loud sounds and vibration
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required to undergo random drug and alcohol testing as mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) anti-drug and alcohol program
