- Office in Altona North
- Undertake safe and effective loading and unloading of the pallets from and into the trucks and container, movement and storage of freight as required.
- Take additional care with freight to ensure there is no damage.
- Always check load restraint, packaging, and the condition of freight before it travels.
- Report all damages to freight or forklift to your supervisor immediately.
- Overtime is available and will be offered on a need by need basis
- Ensure compliance and safety is always adhered to.
- You will be able to work as part of a team
- Palletizing freight for travel where required
- Experience in the transport industry
- Experience in driving the long Tyne forklift advantageous
- Palletized freight experience preferable.
- A valid Forklift License is essential
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a team within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adhere to WHS and Safety Regulations
- Knowledge of Load Restraints and Dangerous Goods desirable.
- Excellent attitude, a good work ethic and reliability
