About the RoleWe’re seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse who brings both clinical excellence and a passion for helping patients live healthier, more purposeful lives—especially those managing diabetes.This newly created position will work directly alongside our Diabetes & Lifestyle Medicine Physician and a multidisciplinary team that includes our Clinical Pharmacist and Care Navigators. Together, you’ll provide education, guidance, and support to patients and their families, with a strong focus on diabetes care and lifestyle medicine. A Certified Diabetes Educator (CDCES) designation is preferred but not required—we’ll support the right candidate in achieving certification within their first year of employment.You’ll rotate among four of our San Antonio Health & Wellness Centers—serving retired First Responders and their families—typically working at one site per day (Westover Hills, Fair Oaks, Schertz, or Roosevelt).This role offers exceptional work-life balance:Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
