JOB PURPOSE

Based on the activities assigned by his/her hierarchical superiors, the logistics operations agent ensures the smooth running of product reception, preparation and dispatch operations (parts, materials, etc.).

Job Description

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIESReception- Receive, unload and put away products (components, crates, chassis, packages, etc.)- Ensure product (component) stocking in the business tool- Ensure product conformity on receipt (identification, class, etc.) and report non-conformities to carriers (CMR) and internal stakeholders- Help optimize product storage- Enter any stock movements (location) in the business tool- Washing componentsPreparation- Handle and pick up products, using handling tools- Validate the preparation in the business tool on the basis of the order, to ensure output product inventory- Prepare and pack products based on orders- If necessary, paint componentsShipping- Prepare and package orders (labels, etc.)- Handling and loading products- Check that the documents required by the carrier (consignment note, etc.) are correct- Check product stowage before carrier departureWarehouse management- Tidy and clean areas (reception, storage, paint booth, wash booth, etc.)- Complete the various business documents and tools relating to logistics operations- Report on activities to line managementRESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION- Guarantees compliance and deadlines for logistics operations - Guarantees the quality of data entered into business tools- Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, stowage, etc.)- Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, cleaning, etc.) - Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rulesPROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGEDIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S)No prerequisites and 5 years' experience preferredSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S)Technical skill(s)- Professional knowledge of logistics- Professional knowledge of material handling equipment operation (professional qualifications, etc.)- General knowledge of IT tools and information systems- General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulationsBehavioral skill(s)- Organizational skills - Interpersonal skills - Versatility - Adaptability- Rigor
