We’re now looking for a skilled and motivated Groundworker to join our team and help us maintain safe, high-quality homes that our residents are proud to live in.
About the Role
As a Groundworker, you’ll play a key role in delivering a customer-focused service across a variety of locations. In this full-time, permanent position, you’ll be responsible for high-quality flagging, fencing, drainage, and general grounds maintenance across Bristol, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare, and surrounding areas.
To be successful, you’ll need to live in or near Bristol to reach customer locations promptly. A full UK driving licence is required, and a basic DBS check, paid for by The Guinness Partnership, will be necessary.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated individual who can:
- Complete repairs efficiently, ideally on the first visit.
- Remove debris and perform minor brickwork.
- Accurately record operational activities in line with company and legal standards.
- Maintain and certify equipment, report defects, and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately.
- Meet performance targets in a customer-focused environment.
- Work methodically and adhere to procedures and health & safety guidelines.
Essential Qualification
- NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) in Groundwork and General Construction or an equivalent recognised trade competency.

- Working hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Friday: 8:00 am–3:30 pm
