Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of HR at our club. This is a department of one position, ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in both strategic and administrative roles. In addition to overseeing all core HR functions, this position provides limited executive assistant support to the General Manager and the Board of Directors.
This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive employee experience, managing seasonal staffing needs, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and club policies—all while supporting a workplace culture of excellence during an exciting period of growth and change.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment for year-round and heavy seasonal hiring, including job postings, onboarding, and H2B processes.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and worker’s compensation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate employee training, safety, and development initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR matters.
Executive Support
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager and Board of Directors on a limited basis, including scheduling, meeting preparation, and correspondence.

Salary range offered will be $115,000 to $130,000 a year. Merit based discretionary bonus available annually.
Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience; hospitality or private club experience strongly preferred.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) required.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
• Experience managing seasonal hiring and high-volume recruitment cycles.
• Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
