The Team Member Dining Room Cook is responsible for preparing meals following set recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to restaurant menu, and following all food health and safety procedures. Work may include operating a grill, oven and fryer.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Set up, clean up and organize work stations.
3. Prepare, weight, measure, and mix ingredients for shift; washing vegetables, chop and season meats.
4. Ensure that kitchen area, ovens, food equipment, utensils, and grills are cleaned and ready for use for shift and next shift.
5. Cook orders according to food and health safety standards.
6. Handle and serve multiple food orders at one time.
7. Deliver food order to Graton Team Member in a timely manner.
8. Store all food properly per hierarchy and per policy.
9. Sanitize and clean work stations and utensils.
10. Assist other cooks in preparing food.
11. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines at all times.
