Job Description
Ticket Office Supervisor
As a BYU Ticket Office Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the game-day and campus event experience. You’ll prepare and manage ticket sales for 300+ events each year using Paciolan software, lead and mentor student employees, and provide outstanding customer service with creativity and diplomacy. Trusted to run the office independently, you’ll ensure smooth operations during busy evenings and weekends while representing BYU with professionalism and Cougar spirit.
Note: This is a part-time position (28) hours per week.
What you’ll do in this position:
- Prepare events for sale in the back office using Paciolan software
- Resolve customer problems using creative methods and diplomacy
- Supervise student and category 1 employees during office hours, including working evening and Saturday events
- Update office calendars for over 300 events yearly
- Answer phones and sell tickets when demand is high
- This employee works without direct supervision for 95% of their time and is trusted to run the office as needed in the absence of the Asst. Ticket Manager
- Can make almost any decision to solve a customer problem within university policy and ticket office policy
What qualifies you for this role:
Required:
- 1 year box office experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years box office experience

Pay Grade: 46
Typical Starting Pay: $14.50 - $21.00
