One to two years of teaching experience in a K–8 setting
CLAD or BCLAD authorization (English Learner authorization)
Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting diverse learners
Training or experience in social-emotional learning (SEL) and restorative practices

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Strong content knowledge in the grade or subject area you are applying for, demonstrated through major/minor, teaching experience, or certifications
Valid California teaching credential (Multiple Subject for TK–6, Single Subject for departmentalized grades, or Education Specialist for Special Education)
Ability to pass a fingerprint clearance/background check (Live Scan)
