POSITION: Assistant Debate Coach
LOCATION: Stillwater Area High School
PURPOSE OF THE ACTIVITY: To provide an opportunity for the development of the fundamental skills necessary to participate in a high school program. Primary responsibility will be the organization and implementation of a program. To provide resources for debate members
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
Connection to a high school community
Communicate with high school students
Be supportive to high school students
Education degree and/or counseling
Previous Debate coaching experience preferred.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Activities Director/Building Principal
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Assist head coach with club meeting days B. Help plan for special events organized by the club advisor C. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.
LENGTH OF ACTIVITIY: Weeks: 13 After School – As assigned by the advisor
PUBLIC PERFORMANCE: Scheduled competitions
SALARY (POINTS): Co-Curricular coaching contract
