- Ensure that school rules are uniformly applied and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and the student handbook.
- Conduct conferences about student and school issues with parents, students, and teachers.
- Comply with district policies, state and federal laws, and regulations affecting schools.
- Develop and administer school budgets based on documented program needs and estimated enrollment ensuring that operations are cost effective, and funds are managed wisely.
- Obtain equipment, resources and materials through processes outlined by the Assistant Superintendent of Business/Operations.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required.
- Manage use of school facilities. Provide oversight of facilities to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
- Select, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and make recommendations relative to assignment, retention, discipline, and dismissal. Approve all personnel assigned to the school through processes outlined by the Director of Human Resources.
- Observe employee performance, record observations, and conduct evaluation conferences in accordance with district policy and state law.
- Coach staff and help them identify and develop appropriate professional growth opportunities as well as accomplish improvement goals.
- Work with school-level and district-level planning and decision-making committees to plan professional development activities.
- Demonstrate awareness of school and community needs and initiate activities to meet those needs using appropriate and effective techniques to encourage community and parent involvement.

Base salary of $97,106 with additional compensation for level of education and past work-related experience.
Purpose: Direct and manage the operations of the school and oversee assigned student activities and services. Provide professional leadership in organizing, administering, supervising, and evaluating a creative school program. Works closely with the community, staff, and administration of the district.
Responsible to: Superintendent
Payment rate: According to the Administrative Salary Schedule
General Conditions: 12 months, running July 1 to June 30
