The Sr. CapEx Procurement Consultant position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Group’s quickly growing Southeast USA area team. Based out of our office in Apex and at a client site in the Raleigh - Durham area. Together we will all be sharing knowledge, learning, growing and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Group’s ongoing expansion in the US. Our office is executing cutting-edge projects for Cell & Gene Therapy, Biologics, and Pharma facilities – from feasibility through to qualification – for both local and international clients. With our clients and partners, we will deliver projects that improve the everyday lives of people across the globe.
We’re supporting a $300M+ capital expansion program and seeking a Procurement Lead to own strategy and execution for large construction and capital equipment packages. This is a high-visibility, strategic role with direct impact on cost, schedule, and risk in a regulated manufacturing environment.

:What You’ll Do:
- Lead sourcing strategy for construction & capital equipment
- Negotiate and manage contracts with General Contractors and trade partners
- Partner closely with engineering and project leadership
- Drive cost, schedule, and quality performance on a major expansion
:
- 15+ years of related experience in and a proven track record of large scale EPCM projects, in various global locations.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
- Detailed knowledge of tendering and contract management methods and procedures
- Strong legal grounding in construction contracts
- Experience of the main forms of Contract in addition to bespoke forms
- High level of skill to evaluate bids and compile reports for use in determining successful offer
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare and maintain complex records and files in an automated system
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with relevant parties
- Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple requests from across several areas
- Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork
- Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative under minimal supervision
- Proficient in the use of Excel, and other Office software
