We’re looking for a Sr. Content Marketing Associate, Thought Leadership to join our Benefits & Protection Marketing team! In this role you will strategically develop a wide range of innovative and engaging content across various platforms to help capture the attention of our target audiences and drive desired outcomes. Measure the impact of marketing content and make recommendations for audience and messaging optimization. Collaborate with and influence marketing partners and decision makers to gain strategic commitment for sustainable content maintenance.
- Partner with broader marketing team to develop and compile a wide range of innovative and engaging content across various platforms, including print (i.e. white papers, brochures, presentations) and digital (i.e. web sites, social media platforms, email marketing, mobile marketing) to ensure messages resonate with key audiences.
- Deliver timely, accurate, compliant, and on brand revisions to marketing collateral. Follow processes and procedures that increase efficiency, speed to market, and contribute to overall strategic goals. Make recommendations for process improvement to help gain efficiencies.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of published content and interpret the data to measure effectiveness, draw actionable conclusions, and make go-forward recommendations to optimize content for core audiences. Contribute to regular content audits and influence partners to gain strategic commitment for sustainable and impactful content maintenance.
- Consistently demonstrate a broad understanding of project impacts across audiences, business lines, and strategies and clearly articulate these impacts to the broader team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of related work experience.
- Understanding of Principal business, products, and industry along with understanding of key audiences.
- Strong problem solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
- Communication, writing, editorial, and PowerPoint skills required.
- Strong copywriting, content development abilities.
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy are critical.
- Ability to be flexible, nimble, work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter.
- Ability to translate data analytics into implications.
- Travel, including overnight stays, may be required up to 5-10% of the time.
Work Environments
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, or Raleigh, NC).
While we're open to remote opportunities, our focus for this role will be finding qualified candidates that can work a hybrid schedule at our Des Moines, IA location.
