ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Data Analyst, you'll be a key driver of data-informed decision-making across the business. This role is perfect for a proactive, skilled professional eager to move beyond standard reporting to deliver deep, actionable insights and innovative solutions.
You will be responsible for the full analytics lifecycle: from in-depth exploratory analysis and designing impactful data visualizations, to applying your skills in SQL and Python to build robust Machine Learning (ML) models.
You must be a self-starter with strong analytical and statistical abilities, able to effectively translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify significant patterns, trends, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools to effectively communicate key findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to data modeling efforts, including building and deploying Machine Learning (ML) models to solve complex business problems.
- Proactively research and creatively think of ways Artificial Intelligence (AI) can advance business goals, and be willing to build proofs-of-concept and conduct testing.
- Independently conduct ad-hoc data analysis to address complex, specific business questions, presenting clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high data quality, consistency, and alignment across projects.
- Stay current on the latest data analysis techniques and tools and proactively recommend improvements to existing processes.
Role Requirements
- 1-2 years years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, etc.).
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (e.g., comfortable writing complex joins, subqueries, and optimizing query performance)
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including model selection, feature engineering, cross-validation, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proactive, self-directed learner with a strong desire to stay current with new data methodologies.
- Passion for the fashion industry and e-commerce is a plus
