II. Job Summary: Tooling Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of tools, equipment, and checking fixtures. Ensure that all tools are in proper working condition and available for use by production teams. | |||||||||

1 | Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting tools to ensure optimal performance. | ||||||||
2 | Diagnose tooling/ fixtures problems and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary. | ||||||||
3 | Coordinate with external vendors or technicians for complex repairs or specialized maintenance tasks. | ||||||||
4 | Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity. | ||||||||
5 | Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and equipment performance. | ||||||||
6 | Monitor tooling/ fixtures performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. | ||||||||
7 | Other duties as assigned; | ||||||||

IⅤ. Qualification | |||||||||
Job Requirements | Language | Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English; the ability of bilingual, such as mandarin, is a plus. Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, other engineers, leadership and customers. | |||||||
Experience | 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. | ||||||||
Education | Bachelor's degree and above, major in machine design, manufacturing, and automation or equivalent. | ||||||||
Physical Condition | Healthy. Able to Travel. Able to work in a manufacturing environment.The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip) Visual acuity including, but not limited to: a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded. b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions. c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are. d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors. e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots. | ||||||||
Other Requirements | MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. COMPUTER SKILLS - Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software. | ||||||||
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities utilized on the job | Professional Knowledge, Skills | Familiar with Office software, basic network operations and e-mail reception and sending; Proficent with CAD deisgn softwares, such as UG, Catia, or Solidwork; strength in AutoCad is a plus; Proficent with 3D modeling designs, and 2D technical drawing constructions; Familiar with moderate knowlege of tooling/fixtures installment and trouble-shooting skills; | |||||||
Familiar with the manufacturing technology, especailly underlying the component installment process; | |||||||||
Able to communicate with other department to other technical issues related in tooling/fixtures; | |||||||||
Able to guide workshop technician, technological operation and new employee training; | |||||||||

Training Required | Receive training concerning the company profile, basic product processing, company rules and management regulations, department and post workflow; | ||||||||
Familiar with the manufacturing technology relating to tempered glasses and laminated glasses, with major quality systems and environmental systems; | |||||||||
V. Work Environment: Bright, clean and well-ventilated office building.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses and steel-toed work boots. | |||||||||
