Key Responsibilities:
- Assist mental health counselors in providing care to clients in individual and group settings
- Provide psychoeducation to individuals and groups on topics such as coping skills, emotional regulation, stress management, communication, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Co-facilitate or independently lead structured group sessions, as deemed appropriate by clinical staff
- Monitor client behaviors, moods, and interactions; document and report observations accurately
- Support implementation of individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision
- Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment
- Assist with administrative or clinical support tasks including preparation of materials for groups or sessions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all ethical and legal standards related to mental health care
- Participate in staff supervision and team meetings as required
