Position Summary
We are seeking a CDL Class A Flat Bed Driver to join our team. In this role,
you will be responsible for hauling materials, fabricated steel and other contents to and from our West Jordan, Utah plant with destinations including other plants and construction sites located throughout the Western United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tractor trailer loads and efficiently deliver to site on time.
- Ensure loads are organized and secured properly and free of damage.
- Maintain proper documentation of loads
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed DOT standards.
- Comply with all applicable state and federal highway laws and standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Two-year minimum CMV Tractor Trailer driving experience (Flatbed preferred).
- No more than 2 moving violation in 12 months.
- No speeding 15 MPH or more violations in 3 years.
- No rollovers or abandonments.
- Secure freight by hand.
- Must pass DOT background check, physical and drug screen.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to operate trucks in a safe and sensible manner.
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.
