About the role

 

Do you enjoy getting out on farm building genuine relationships and have a keen interest in Ruminant nutrition and performance? We’re looking for a motivated and personable Territory Sales Manager who is driven by purpose –not just sales- to join our team and work directly with farmers to improve livestock performance and achieve their on-farm goals. 

 

In this role, you’ll spend your time building strong relationships with dairy farmers within Tongala / Northern Victoria region, offering practical solutions, and working with them to optimise feed strategies. If you’re passionate about agriculture, confident in a sales environment, and enjoy the day-to-day of working on farm, this could be the role for you.

 

Key responsibilities include

 

  • Visit farms across your region to promote and sell our animal feed range and provide related nutritional advice.
  • Deliver CopRice budgeted profit and sales target for the allocated region.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers and create sustainable new business from which budgeted profit and sales targets can be delivered.
  • Implement long term marketing strategies to maximise brand awareness.

 

About You

 

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Sales experience – preferably in agriculture and direct to farm.
  • Knowledge of ruminant nutrition and farming practices (desirable).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business/commerce related discipline desirable.
