YOUR MISSION
As an Operations Analyst, you will be part of Glovo’s Portugal Local Operations Team focusing on the Supply vertical. The riders are a key player in Glovo’s marketplace. We are looking for an Operations Analyst who will find the balance between creativity and objectivity in such a way that they carry out projects that seem impossible until they come true. You will be in charge of the life cycle of riders, from the moment they register as independent workers. We're looking for someone who has that mix of analytical and operational abilities to build things from the ground up and get stuff done, as well as the creative thinking necessary to drive innovative solutions.
THE JOURNEY
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover key trends, challenges, and strategic opportunities.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards that provide the team with real-time visibility into key operational metrics.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and develop data-backed solutions to improve processes.
- Partner with Local and Global teams to ensure the seamless execution of operational projects from start to finish.
- Track and measure the impact of your operational initiatives, providing clear insights and recommendations for future projects.
- Develop a profound understanding of our operational model to advise the team and guide strategic decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 1-3 years of experience in a highly analytical and demanding role (e.g., operations, consulting, business intelligence, or finance).
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and a proven ability to wrangle and analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
- You are results-oriented, autonomous, and have a meticulous eye for detail. You have a "get-your-hands-dirty" attitude.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and positive approach.
- Experience in the on-demand delivery or supply chain sectors is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Qlik) and programming languages like Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Zapier) is a plus.
- Professional fluency in English.
