Overview:
We are seeking a senior-level expert in infrastructure automation and Python development to support hosting operations and tooling. The role involves documenting services, developing automation solutions, and facilitating offshore activity transfers.
The service involves contributing to:
• Monitoring and operating various dedicated systems
• Maintenance and technical evolution of these systems
• Training infrastructure teams on best practices in development and design within an Agile framework
• Evolving the "Automation" offering within the department
• Transitioning to hybrid cloud platform
• Maintaining and evolving the internal service portal
• Managing changes to business applications
Expected Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Automation Expert, you will be responsible for:
1. Service Documentation
- Produce and maintain detailed documentation for both existing and newly developed services.
- Include architectural diagrams, operational workflows, and service dependencies to support transparency and scalability.
2. Infrastructure Automation Development
- Design and implement automation solutions to optimize hosting and infrastructure operations.
- Develop and maintain scripts, web portals, and datalake integrations to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ensure automation tools are robust, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
3. Offshore Activity Transition
- Lead the transfer of operational activities to offshore teams.
- Prepare comprehensive handover materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective transition.
