The role:

To lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain functions. This includes covering Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Customer Supply with the goal to optimise processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, drive exceptional service, and embed a culture of best practice across a global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staying abreast of and applying where applicable industry best in class and AI advancement in supply chain

  • Collect and analyse supply chain data (e.g., inventory levels, lead times, transportation costs) to generate actionable insights

  • Lead root cause analysis for supply chain issues (e.g., delays, supplier issues, forecasting errors) and develop solutions to address them

  • Identify, lead, and deliver end-to-end process improvement projects

  • Collaborate with departmental leaders in Supply Planning, Demand & Customer Supply and Logistics to map and analyse current processes, and find areas for improvement

  • Develop business cases for improvement projects, including cost-benefit analyses and implementation plans, Business Requirements Documents.  Create and monitor project plans to ensure delivery of measurable, sustainable improvements

  • Create clear and concise process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for all supply chain areas

  • Deliver training sessions to onboard new hires and upskill existing staff to embed best practice and standard processes

  • Proactively research, learn, and share supply chain best practice to ensure alignment and continuous improvement

  • Support business wide transformation projects representing the supply chain function

  • Mentor and coach team members and foster a continuous improvement mindset and skillset within the team.

  • Support Scenario planning to determine future fit strategies
