We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Planning Team Manager to join the team at our Sainsburys contract in Charlton.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a key strategic customer, and support in building on a talented planning team, involving the planning of all aspects of Warehouse Operations across a very large site.
Description for Internal Candidates
Reporting to the Depot Planning Manager, the successful candidate will have experience in a large complicated FMCG food environment, an ability to maximise planning to increase the performance, efficiency and optimisation of the warehouse plan to ensure that a comprehensive and proactive service is provided to both internal and external customers.
You will be responsible for the delivery of an optimal plan considering cost and customer service across several departments, including responsibility and accountability for Systems and Hardware, WLS - Recycling and Reusables, and a Warehouse/Management Training Plan
What will you bring?
· Proven planning and leadership of warehouse and other planning operations
· Experience within a FMCG environment
· The ability to engage with all stakeholders and leads
· Working knowledge of budgets and targets
· Strong organisational skills and skills in Excel etc
