We are looking for a talented Laundry Supervisor to join our team and significantly contribute to reopen our newly remodeled resort in the American Riviera, Santa Barbara!

What you will do:

The Laundry Supervisor is a key member of the leadership team in a fast-paced, multi-account commercial laundry operation. Responsible of driving performance across key operational areas including processing, training, inventory control, delivery, and data management. Foster a positive, people-first culture rooted in the Golden Rule, ensuring high-quality standards and seamless collaboration with stakeholders to meet client expectations and operational goals.

Some of the key functions of this role are:

  • Administer and control all Laundry/ Valet operations to achieve Four Seasons standards and objectives. Is responsible for ensuring that all linen is clean, the circulation is sufficient, all uniforms are clean and always available for employees.

  • Make inspections trips through entire area checking on production methods and procedures.

  • Oversee production reports and ensures all counts are accurate and linen is accounted for on a daily basis.

  • Ensure all staff are exposed to constant training and refinement on an on-going basis.

  • Maintain good working relationships with all departments in the hotel and clients.

  • Develop production schedules to meet the requirements for all clients.

  • Participate in inventories of all uniforms, linens and supplies as well as an inspection checklist for Laundry / Valet.

  • Always maintain a clean and organized working environment in the Laundry/Valet department.

  • Order and handle all equipment and chemicals in Laundry/Valet as well as train those in the department in their proper use and care.

  • Monitor a maintenance program for all equipment developed by Engineering.

  • Adjust schedules and operation to provide the service for hotel and off-site accounts

  • Establish and implement energy conservation policies and procedures. The ability to check washing formulas.

  • Participate in the daily routine of receiving, handling, tagging, spotting, cleaning, pressing and packaging of all guest or staff clothes

  • Assist in the pick-up and delivery of linen from off-site clients.

  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff

What you bring:

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar (supervisory) role, in a luxury hotel setting preferred.

  • Requires excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and challenge a diverse team.

  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of hotel operating systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day.

  • Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.  Ability to speak Spanish strongly preferred.

  • Effective interpersonal skills and a great team player.

  • Familiar with State and local safety regulations (i.e., OSHA), CPR/First Aid certified is a plus.

  • Schedule & Hours: This position requires flexible availability in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
