83West Supplies Team Lead at Len Busch Roses

We're looking for a hands-on Team Lead to drive daily execution, team coaching, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean workplace while meeting productivity, quality, and delivery goals in the production and shipping of high-quality plants and flowers. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who models our core values and actively coaches team members to meet and exceed performance goals.

What you'll do:

• Lead the team in the execution of Receiving and Processing tasks: Scanning, Sorting, Processing, Quality Checks, etc. 
  • Executes labor plan and adjusts as necessary resulting in on-time finish and truck load
  • Coaches and audits employees on order filling processes in the areas of Retail and Mass Customer Routes, resulting in order accuracy, product quality and productivity at or above goal.
• Actively participate in weekly team L10 meetings and 1:1s, demonstrating a commitment to driving the team’s scorecard performance into a passing state.
• Foster a positive and accountable team environment that consistently delivers high-quality work that delights both internal and external customers.
• Manage actual staffing vs scheduled staffing, ensure timeliness of schedule revisions and communication and alignment to work demand forecast.
• Executes labor sharing and cross training strategies through healthy, effective collaboration with Supply Chain Supervisors to accomplish daily work with minimal disruption to service metrics and lowest labor cost as % sales.
• Executes onboarding and training plan in partnership with mentors resulting in alignment with leadership expectations for all new hires.
• Build a high level of trust with the Sales and Product Management Teams by ensuring key issues affecting customers are responded to timely and professionally.
• Partner with supervisors to conduct effective stay interviews, listen to employee feedback, and drive improvements based on insights gained.

When You'll Work:

Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday : 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM OR  Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday- Thursday : 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM 

Please Note: There is no fixed end time, your day ends once all tasks are completed, including end-of-day duties. 

Pay Range: $21.00/hr – $23.00/hr 

Holidays & Overtime:
Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs. Please be aware that during peak times, particularly around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, and Mother's Day, you may be required to work overtime and on days that are typically your time off. These busy periods may demand flexibility in your schedule.

Desired Experience: 

• Warehouse or landscaping experience preferred (greater than 3 months)
• Experience working in a physically repetitive position
• Bilingual Spanish & English
