Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service (MES) has an opening for an Electrician to join the Technical and Environmental Services Group at the BWI Marshall Airport field office. Responsibilities include performing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment used for a variety of projects at BWI and Martin State Airports as well as other MES operated facilities throughout the state.This field office is a designated 24/7 emergency essential facility. Therefore, the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during adverse weather conditions will be required.
Estimated Pay Range:
$50,233.92 - $69,070.88

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a GED equivalent certificate plus three years of experience performing installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment. Formal training from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field of study may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis for up to three (3) years of the required experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 5 points and the ability to obtain a Homeland Security Clearance. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
