JOB DESCRIPTION
ELC PD is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering training and other learning opportunities for educators and providers in DHHS licensed programs. ELC CC supports early childhood coaches who work with early childhood educators to improve access to quality care and education for all young children and their families.

Salary for this full time (30-35 hours a week) position will be negotiable based on education and experience, within the range of $20-$23/hour. Essential Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills to support community based early childhood coaches, educators, and providers including reading and translating documents.
- Computer skills consistent with essential job responsibilities.
- Communication skills consistent with essential job responsibilities.
- No history of child abuse or negligence.
- Regular and dependable in person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment. The assigned duties of this position may allow consideration of occasional/infrequent remote work with the approval of the supervisor. Remote work is subject to the remote work guidelines and conditions outlined in the job description. The supervisor may withdraw the remote work option at any time.
- Successfully pass required background checks.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.
- Regularly access the email system for review of materials distributed from ESU #3.
- Work as part of a team to manage the ELC professional development (PD) and ELC Coach Consultant (CC) grants and to support the Student Services department’s needs as requested.
- Provide critical support of ELC PD and ELC CC grant work including tracking data, maintaining records, processing documentation , and assisting with communications.
- Offer input regarding processes supporting the ELC PD and ELC CC grants
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively, independently, and professionally.
- Assist with managing registrations and distributing follow up information.
- Attend onsite, offsite, or online ELC PD and ELC CC events, as requested, occurring during daytime, evening, or weekends.
- Maintain a daily routine and assist in carrying out planned activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
