Counselor, College and Career Readiness, Firebaugh High School at Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified

BASIC FUNCTIONS: Provide age appropriate personal support enabling students, parents and staff to make sound decisions about academic, educational, college, vocational, and personal problems, opportunities, needs and conflicts. Assist the Head Counselor with the development and implementation of college and career pathways for students. Assist with the planning and preparation of the scheduling process around key information including; enrollment projections, allocation of FTE’s and curriculum alignment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate level training pupil personnel, child welfare, or family counseling. Three years classroom teaching or counseling (professional or internship). Experience in master scheduling preferred. Experience working in Career Technical Education programs and/or Regional Occupational Programs, or College and Career Guidance programs desired.
